Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cyberloafing and organizational commitment on the performance of permanent employees at PT. The success of the Palembang Maritime Vehicle. This research is a case study research. The subjects in this study were employees who worked at PT. The success of the Palembang Maritime Vehicle. The sample in this study were 30 permanent employees who work at PT. Maritime Vehicle Success. The data collection technique in this study was using an online questionnaire instrument distributed via Whatsapp and direct messages on Instagram. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The data analysis technique uses validity, reliability, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, hypothesis testing and coefficient of determination test (R^2) with the help of IBM SPSS 26.0 software for windows. The results of this study indicate that (1) cyberloafing has a negative effect on employee performance, (2) organizational commitment also has a positive effect on employee performance and (3) cyberloafing and organizational commitment variables simultaneously affect employee performance.
