Abstract :
Background: Knowledge is something captured through the five senses of an object so that it can be understood and understood by someone, one of the efforts to stop the spread of covid-19 requires good knowledge from the whole community. The cause of the high number of positive confirmed cases of Covid-19 is the attitude of the people who are starting to slack off in implementing health protocols. However, this can direct a person's behavior to act positively in preventing the transmission of Covid-19. Thus, it is necessary to increase knowledge, attitudes, and behavior about preventing the transmission of COVID-19 in the community. Objective: This study aims to obtain an overview of knowledge, attitudes, and behavior about preventing the transmission of covid-19 in the community in Sukajaya Palembang Village. Methods: This study used a descriptive survey method. The sampling technique used a total sampling of 91 respondents. Data was collected using a knowledge, attitude, and behavior questionnaire regarding the prevention of COVID-19 transmission. Results: The results of the research data were analyzed using univariate analysis, principally aged 26-35 years as many as 31 respondents (34.1%), and female sex as many as 71 respondents (54.1%), respondents with the education of high school as many as 35 respondents (38.5% ), and respondents working as housewives as many as 61 respondents (67.0%). The results of the frequency distribution showed that most of the people had good knowledge as many as 86 adolescents (94.5%), had a positive attitude as many as 73 adolescents (80.2%), and positive behavior as many as 75 people (82.4%). Suggestion: Based on the results of this study, it can provide information for the community and maintain and improve the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of the community regarding 5M.
