Abstract :
Background: Nomophobia is a condition where a person feels empty, loses something and feels anxious when not near a smartphone. This condition occurs due to the convenience of existing facilities on smartphones so that someone feels reluctant not to bring along with their smartphone. The impact of nomophobia that is felt by sufferers is stress, lack of focus, anti-social and insomnia which can then interfere daily activities of sufferers with nomophobia tendencies. Purpose: This study aims to analyzed the relationship of nomophobia with learning achievement. Methods: This research was conducted at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Musi Charitas Catholic University, Palembang. The method used is an analytical survey with a cross sectional approach. The population of this study amounted to 88 students using total sampling. Data collection using a questionnaire (goggle form). Statistical test using Kendall Tau b test. Results: The results of the research from 85 respondents showed that the median value of the respondent's age was 20 years old with range from 19- 22 years old, the most female respondents were 77 students (90.6%), the most have nomophobia moderate Nomophobia, namely 52 respondents (61 ,2%), the most GPA was with a very satisfactory predicate, namely 42 students (49.4%). The results of the Kendall Tau b statistical test obtained p-value = 0,736 with The conclusion Thar there si no significant relationship between nomophobia and learning achievement.
