Abstract :
Background : The ongoing Covid-19 has brought many changes in life, besides the
impact caused by this pandemic is one of them in the health sector. Based on this,
adaptation strategies can be carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic by complying
with the health protocols implemented by the government. This is certainly not easy
to do, considering that this government regulation is a new thing as well as a new
habit that must be obeyed by the community.
Objective : The purpose of the study was to describe the adaptation strategy of
citizens to health impacts during the Covid-19 pandemic in Kelurahan 26 Ilir, RT 33
Palembang
Method : This study uses a quantitative research design with an analytical survey
method. Sampling in this study using purposive sampling with a total of 63
respondents. Data analysis in this study was univariate to see the frequency
distribution of age, sex, and adaptation strategies.
Result : The results of the univariate analysis showed that most of the respondents
were aged 23-35 years, the majority of respondents were female 38 (60.3%) and the
majority of respondents had adaptive adaptation strategies as many as 57 63 (90.5).

Suggestion : In the adaptation strategy at the research site, it is expected to be able
to maintain adaptive behavior such as wearing a mask, washing hands, exercising,
always taking a shower when traveling.
