Abstract :
Background: Palembang City is a district in South Sumatera Province as the district with the highest Covid-19 cases, and Palembang City has high, medium, and low risk zoning for Covid-19. This zoning can be influenced by one of them is the Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (CHLB) of the community. CHLB in Palembang City in the last two years has decreased, the CHLB is only 64%. Purpose: Knowing the differences in community CHLB in an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19 between those living in the high risk Covid-19 zone and those living in low risk. Method: Data collection in this study was carried out on May 21 to 22 at RT 27, Lebung Gajah Village and on June 1 at RT 69, Bukit Lama Village. Analysis of the research using the comparative method of 64 respondents who were taken by total sampling using the Mann-Whitney U Test. Result: The bivariate analysis in this study showed that there was a significant difference in CHLB between respondents living in a high-risk Covid-19 zone and those living in a low-risk zone (p=0,021). Community CHLB in the low risk Covid-19 zone is better (Mean Rank?s 35,00) compared to community CHLB in the high risk Covid-19 zone (Mean Rank?s 30,00). Suggestion: Good CHLB is to be maintained and poor CHLB is to be improved, in order to achieve the highest degree of health.
