Abstract :
Palembanng is the capital of South Sumatera Province whice is an area that was and continues to experience growth. Educational aspect is very important in a society in which the education levelof resource that people can evolve and progres, in this a case is the High School (SMA) State. This makes the residents of Palembang difficulty in knowing the location and information about high schools in the city of Palembang. Thus, it is needed a system that serves to facilitate infrormasi Palembang residents to know the location and Opera about SMA in Palembang. So one of the way will be applied to provide solutions to the resident of Palembnag is by applying ?This application can give information, ask questions Palembang and information layout and high schools in the city of Palembang. Making this application, using the waterfall model of system development methodologies, software development UML (Unified Modeling Language), as well as the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The end result of this researchis a geographic information system that presents information such as the location of SMA Negeri in Palembang along with its facilities.
