Abstract :
Goldenfishfarm Betta Fish cultivation SME?s is one of the ornamental betta fish cultivation businesses in Palembang city that has been established since 2017. Based on the results of observations and interviews, it is known that the marketing activities implemented by SME?s have not been running optimally where the market share of SME?s is only limited to the South Sumatra region, not yet penetrated into the national and international market. This causes the low income received by Goldenfishfarm Betta Fish cultivation SME?s while the R/C Ratio is currently 1,381 or equivalent to a net income of Rp1.017.295,-. To formulate an appropriate business development strategy, the business model canvas (BMC) and SWOT analysis methods are used to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the nine BMC elements owned by SME?s. Then the SWOT Matrix is used to formulate improvement strategies. The implementation of improvements made is by registering SME?s businesses with BKIPM to get permits and legality of shipping, expanding the marketing area by venturing into national and international markets by utilizing social media and marketplaces, involving a worker who understands online marketing and finance, collaborating with transhippers, digital wallet companies, and delivery services, optimize the production process to improve the quality of betta fish, as well as increase revenue by selling various feeds and betta fish farming equipment. After implementing the improvements, it is known that the R/C Ratio of SME?s is 2,482 or equivalent to a net income of Rp11.140,830,-. Then there was an increase of 1,1 R/C Ratio or an increase in net income of Rp10.123.535,-. Keywords : BMC Method, SWOT Analysis, R/C Ratio, and Income
