Abstract :
baby's weight is one of the parameters to know the growth of the baby. Infants aged 6 months are fed breast milk companion food to meet their growth and development needs. Infants who get MPASI according to the needs with the correct management will experience growth according to the age of the baby.
Objective: This study aims to find out the weight of babies who are given MPASI.
Methods: this type of research is descriptive quantitative. The population of infants 12 - 24 months, samples of infants aged 12 - 24 who get MPASI. The data analyzed by secondary data is taken from KMS primary data to determine the provision of MPASI. Sampled 50 respondents' data. Univariate data analysis.
Results: 19 out of 50 subjects (38%) 14 months old baby. Male gender ? male 26 (52.0%). Normal-weight infants were 23 people out of 50 subjects (46.0%), infants underweight 26 people out of 50 subjects (52.0%). Infants given MPASI as much as 35 (70.0%).
Suggestion: to the respondent's mother should provide quality feeding and provide frequency of feeding according to age so that the baby's growth is well processed.
