Abstract :
Examination of hemoglobin is very important tobe one of the test filters to know the diagnostic of the illness and to see how the body to know about it. Examination of hemoglobin can be used hematology analyzer called Sysmex XP 100 and POCT called Hb Mission. This study aims to determine differences in hemoglobin while using hematology analyzer and POCT. Objective: To know the level of hemoglobinwhile usinghematology analyzer/Sysmex XP-100 and POCT/Hb Mission Methods: This study is a quantitative study with an analytical observational research design, namely a cross-sectional approach. The research subjects used in this study were all patients who would be hospitalized at the eyes Hospital, South Sumatra Province. Venous blood that is stored in a tube with anticoagulant EDTA (Ethylene Diamine Tetraacetic Acid) and then the hemoglobin results are checked using Hematology Analyzer and POCT. The results of hemoglobin examination when analyzed by paired T test with 95% confidence level. Results: The results of hemoglobin when using hematology analyzer device obtained an average of 13,9 gr/dl, the results of hemoglobin when using POCT obtained an average of 14,4 gr/dl. The results of this measurement were then tested statistically using the Paired T test with a 95% confidence level, the probability value (sig 2 tailed) was 0.00 < 0.05. Conclusion: There are differences of hemoglobin level using hematology analyzer and POCT. Suggestion : Examination of hemoglobin using POCT/Hb Mission only use as screening not tobe diagnostic of the patient.
