Abstract :
This study aims to find out how the application of information technology can affect the effectiveness of accounting information systems, and how the application of information technology can be influenced by the choice of company strategy, by focusing on UMKM in Palembang. The data used id primary data. The population in this study is UMKM in Palembang that have use cash register applications as the application of information technology. Hypothesis testing have a result that the choice of company strategy had an effect on the application of information technology had an effect on the effectiveness of the accounting information system.
