Abstract :
Background: Adolescence is a developmental process from childhood to adulthood. Adolescence experiences very rapid growth including reproductive function, adolescents will experience reproductive function growth like men will experience changes in the penis and enlarged testicles grow Adam?s apple wet dream. in women the reproductive organs will experience maturity with the occurrence of menarche of breast growth, the level of knowledge of students and students is very lacking in understanding knowledge about sexual violence in schools. Objective: It is known that the description of adolescent knowledge about sexual violence in junior high school Smp Methodist 1 Palembang Methods: This type of research is quantitative, this research design is descriptive with a total sampling technique and the sample used is 88 respondents. Result: The results of the research on sexual violence knowledge from 88 respondents were 44 respodents (50.0%) less than 38 respondents (43.2%) with good knowledge as many as 6 respondents (6.8%) Conclusion: From the results of the research, respondents knowledge is still lacking about sexual violence. Suggestion: Respondents are expected to increase their knowledge of sexual violence.
