Abstract :
Palembang Children Center is an early childhood education facility (PAUD) that accommodates parenting activities for children aged 1-2 years (infantt), children aged 3-4 years (toddlers), children aged 5-6 years (kindergarten) and caring for children aged 6-12 years outside the school schedule. In the PAUD area, children can play and learn and grow and develop according to their interests and abilities. The Palembang Children Center consists of several facilities, including classrooms according to the age of the child, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, a garden on the roof of the building (green roof) as well as futsal, basketball and children's swimming pools. All these facilities are accommodated in one building mass. The theme applied to the design of the Palembang Children Center is "Move". This theme is embodied in the building through the concept of a circular shape from the analogy of the shape of a falling water drop with the concept of moving, growing, and developing. The Palembang Children Center will be planned in an ecological architectural style. Keywords: children, moving, growing, developing, early childhood education.
