Abstract :
Self-regulation in learning and academic anxiety during the COVID-19 pandemic is very much needed for students. This study aims to determine the role of self-regulation in learning on academic anxiety in students during the pandemic. The subjects of this study amounted to 106 people using accidental sampling. The method in this study uses quantitative research. The data collection technique is by spreading the self-regulation scale and academic anxiety through google form. The data analysis technique uses statistical tests using a simple linear regression test through the SPSS version 22 application. The result of the study is that self-regulation has a role in academic anxiety. The significance value is 0.00 < 0.05, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a role between self-regulation and academic anxiety. The conclusion of this study is that if students have high self-regulation, then academic anxiety is also high.
