Abstract :
At present, the development of technology is so fast that people are required to be able to follow any kind of advancement of various technology. Advances in technology have an impact on the progress in all fields. One is education. In the field of education, especially at SMA is very difficult to determine exactly which majors decision in accordance with SMA students. The school should really consider the right choice for their students to these majors. Therefore, it takes a decision support system that is able to provide advice to the school to determine the appropriate decision majors. Determination majors performed at SMA Xaverius 1 Palembang class X semester 1 until semester 2 for students can focus on their abilities, talents and interests they have. Determination majors improper cause students do not get along and become a passion for learning so that students would be forced to follow the lessons in class. To overcome these problems, it takes a Decision Support System for the determination appropriately of SMA Xaverius 1 Palembang. The system is built using a programming PHP and MySql as database and use Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making method, Simple Additive Weighting method dan menggunakan Metode Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making (FMADM) and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method as a method of decision making and calculations.With this system, is expected to assist the school in Determination majors performed at SMA Xaverius 1 Palembang class X semester 1 until semester 2 for students can focus on their abilities, talents and interests they have of each student.
