Abstract :
Gastritis is an acute inflammation of the gastric mucosal surface with erosive
damage. Meanwhile, chronic gastritis is a prolonged gastric inflammation caused
by benign or malignant ulcers from the stomach or by H. pylori bacteria.
Characteristics of this inflammation include anorexia, epigastric fullness or
discomfort, nausea and vomiting. This local inflammation of the gastric mucosa
will develop when the protective mechanisms of the mucosa are filled with
bacteria or other irritants. The general purpose of this scientific paper is so that
the author is able to express the theoretical concept in completing Nursing Care
for Ms. L's patients with gastrointestinal disorders: gastritis in Fransiskus room
rooms 1-3 Charitas Hopital Hospital Km 7 Palembang. The specific objectives
include: the nurse is able to understand the basic concepts of medic theory,
conducts assessments on Ms.L, decides nursing diagnoses experienced by
patients, compiles nursing plans, takes nursing actions and evaluates nursing care
that has been carried out on Ms.L. Writing Scientific Writing uses the Case Study
method: Interview, Physical Examination, Observation for 3 days. After
conducting the assessment, 3 nursing diagnoses were obtained, namely acute pain
associated with physiological injury agents (inflammation / inflammation), the
risk of electrolyte fluid imbalance related to diarrhea, Nausea related to gastric
irritation. The patient comes home with a healthy condition. The conclusion that
can be drawn from this scientific paper is that on diagnosis 1: Acute pain
associated with physiological injuring agents (inflammation / inflammation) is
resolved. Diagnosis 2: Risk of fluid imbalance associated with diarrhea is
resolved. Diagnosis 3: Nausea associated with gastric irritation resolved.
