Abstract :
With the advancement of technology this advanced security and confidentiality of the information is needed. sometimes in communicating the data or information was not up to the recipient because it has been hijacked by people who are not entitled to such information or to do evil in the name of others. Hence a cryptographic application was the one who needed this time to keep the data or information to stay safe and can not be used by others who are not entitled to such information or data. There are many algorithms for cryptography, one of which is the algorithm Rivest Code 6 (RC6). The algorithm Rivest Code 6 (RC6) is a symmetric key cryptography using keys used for encryption as well as descriptions of the same process. Implementation algorithms Rivest Code 6 (RC6) has produced an application that can be used for encryption and description in wav format audio files. Where the results of tests for encryption on the audio file runs fine, because the sound issued an audio file after the encryption process that produces sounds similar to the original sound, so that the security and confidentiality of the files are already very safe. In building this application programming language used is the language of java.
