Abstract :
Library as a Learning Centre in Palembang is a place that accommodates activities related to libraries and learning activities to meet the needs of education, research, preservation, information, and recreation for the general public, with the aim of increasing interest in reading and literacy of the people of the Palembang city. This library has facilities in the form of an indoor reading room, outdoor reading room, collection room, children's service room, storytelling room, mini theatre, and other facilities that can support community activities in the library. The theme applied in the design of this library is "a window to the world", which can be interpreted as something that can help to see the outside world without the need to go to the outside world and can obtain unlimited information and knowledge. This design theme is also supported by the concept of the metaphorical form of leaves, which is applied to the exterior, interior, and landscape.
