Abstract :
This study aims to determine the effect of financial and macroeconomic performance on stock prices by focusing on consumer goods companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the COVID-19 pandemic, the period of this research is second quarter of 2020 to the second quarter of 2021. The data used in this study are secondary data. The population in this study are consumer goods companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling method and obtained 52 companies with a total of 260 samples. Hypothesis testing in this study was carried out by multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that financial performance as measured by Return on Equity (ROE) has a positive effect on prices, Current Ratio (CR) has an effect on stock prices, Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) has no effect on stock prices and macroeconomics as measured by inflation and interest rates have no effect on stock prices.
