Abstract :
In 2017, Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in the world was high. It reached 295,000 MMR after pregnancy and labor. Mother and newborn baby health are strongly related. In 2018, Infant Mortality Rate (IMR)reached 21,000. High MMR is the main cause of IMR based on the World Health Organization report in 2019. In 2017, Palembang Health Service reported that there were 7 maternal mortality cases in 27,876 live births and 1,712 infant mortality cases in 27,876 live births in Palembang. This research aims to provide COC midwifery caring to Mrs. ?A? from pregnancy, labor, newborn baby, postpartum, neonate to family planning counseling by using the COC approach directly. In this task, COC midwifery caring provided to Mrs. ?A? from March 14 2021 to April 7 2021 at Lismarini Independence Midwifery Practice. It was conducted in pregnancy, labor, newborn baby, postpartum, and neonate. The data were collected by using a SOAP development note. Based on the result of the assessment on Mrs. ?A?, it was found that the pregnancy, labor, newborn baby, postpartum, and neonate were inphysiological scope. This conclusion was taken by providing COC midwifery caring to mother and newborn baby so that the risk of complications and other health problems can be rapidly detected.
