Abstract :
The purpose of the study was to identify the impact of the WFH (Work From Home) system on the competence of private high school teachers in online learning during the pandemic in Palembang City. The study used quantitative methods, the process of collecting research data was obtained from online and offline questionnaires as many as 87 private high school teachers who were carrying out work from home activities in the city of Palembang. The data analysis technique uses simple regression analysis and descriptive statistics with the help of SPSS version 20. The results show that work from home for private high school teachers has a positive and significant effect on teacher competence, which is shown that work from home is tied to competence in mastering technology, communication competence and social to students. Teachers also still need to develop these competencies so that they will minimize problems that will occur in online learning, so that the learning process can runbetter.
