Abstract :
This research is a quantitative study that aims to analyze the influence of leadership style and work environment on employee engagement of the Palembang millennial employees. The population in this study were employees of the millennial generation in the city of Palembang. This study used 100 samples, with non-probability sampling method and purposive sampling technique. Data was collected using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used are the validity test, reliablitiy test, classical assumptions test consisting of normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple regression analysis, hypothesis testing containing coefficient of determination (R2), F test, and t test multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study state that (1) leadership style has a positive and significant effect on employee engagement of the Palembang millennial employees, (2) the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee engagement of the Palembang millennial employees.
