Abstract :
This study aims to determine the effect of social media on the performance of milenial generation employees in the city of Palembang. The performance of an employee can be seen from how he carries out his duties. The variables used in this study are social media for the independent variable (independent) and employee performance for the dependent variable (dependent). The population in this study were milenial generation employees in the city of Palembang with samples taken using purposive sampling technique and sample criteria, namely milenial generation employees who worked in the city of Palembang by distributing online questionnaires. With data analysis techniques using descriptive statistical analysis. Data analysis used simple regression analysis. The results obtained are that social media has a positive effect on the performance of milenial generation employees in the city of Palembang.
