Abstract :
Computer is one of technologies had been using in life day. As National Standard School, the teachers at SMP Negeri 17 Palembang had used computer in teaching learning process. Therefore, this study aims to provide evidence about the influence of computer attitude on the performance of teachers. Population in the study were all teachers at SMP Negeri 17 Palembang as 63 teachers by using saturated samples. The method of collecting data using questionares by likert scale. Whereas the method of data analysis using double regression analysis as optimism variable, pessimism variable and computer attitude variable. The analysis tools are validity and reliability testing, classic assumption testing and hypothesis testing using SPSS 17.0. The classic assumption testing using normalitas, multikolineritas, autokorelasi and heteroskedastisitas testing. Hypothesis testing using t-test for variable of optimism and variable of pessimism, whereas F-test for variable of computer attitude. Based on the result of research, condacted is explained evidence about the influence of computer attitude on the performance of the teachers.
