Abstract :
This research is aimed to analyze the influence of political connection and ownership structure. The ownership structure in this research consists of institutional share ownership and share ownership in individual to company performance. The population in this study are all manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2011 until 2013. The samples obtained are as many as 44 companies. Results of these tests show that the first hypothesis which states that political connection has a negative effect on the performance of the company, accepted. The second hypothesis states that the Institutional Ownership affect the performance of the company,is declined. The third hypothesis which states that the effect on the profitability of the company's performance,is declined.
