Abstract :
ABSTRACT This research aims to determine the effect of institutional ownership, foreign ownership, profitability, and operating capacity to financial distress. The theory used in this research is agency theory. Population in this research is service company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2013?2017. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling and obtain as many as 115 samples. The research has done by analysis technique in the form of multiple linear regression. The results show that foreign ownership has negative effect on financial distress condition, whether institutional ownership, profitability, and operating capacity have no effect on financial distress condition.
