communication strategies. The purpose of this study is to find out is there any
correlation between both of them.
In this study, the researcher chose the eighth grade students at MTs.
Roudlotul Hikmah Cerme - Gresik as a subject. The data was collected by using
questionnaire. There are two questionnaires that are used by the researcher; those
are MIDAS and OCSI questionnaires. After gaining the data, the researcher
analyzed the data by using SPSS 16.00.
The research finding showed that the significance value of sig. (2-tailed) is
0.000 it means that the significance value is less than 0.05. So, null hypothesis can
be rejected, it means there was correlation between interpersonal intelligence and
oral communication strategies at Eighth grade of MTs.Roudlotul Hikmah Cerme -
Gresik. Value of rho between both of them was 0.631. It means the strength of
correlation is strong correlation. Correlation between two variables was
significant at the level 0.01 and the correlation was positively.
There are some suggestions to recommend; for the student, it can enrich
knowledge them about intelligence that they have, so it can optimize and develop
their ability. For the teacher, teacher can help the student to optimize intelligence
the student. For the next researcher, this study still need revise by the other
researchers and can be useful as reference materials for other researchers.
