Abstract :
PT. Petrokimia Gresik (PKG) is a well-known fertilizer and chemical producer, to support the company's production and operation activities, PKG will implement development & infrastructure projects. Before doing the project, it was necessary to select the candidate of contractor who will execute the projects. In the process of selecting prospective contractors, PKG has set up a project preparation team to handle the activities. However, due to the large number of potential contractors who want to participate in PKG projects, the PKG project preparation team has difficulty in choosing the contractor candidate in accordance with the provisions of the PKG project preparation team. The selection of prospective contractor that meet the requirement, an application using computerized technology is required. Decision support system becomes an option to solve the problem with consideration based on value of each criterion and weight of interest with TOPSIS method.. The built applications can produce recommendation of prospective contractor more precisely and effectively. The result of testing the system, proved that TOPSIS method can run properly and appropriately.
