Abstract :
This study aims to determine the factors that cause the warehouse capacity is not able to accommodate goods according to their capacity at UD Ratno Jaya and to find out how the strategy of optimization of warehouse capacity at UD Ratno Jaya. The method used is a qualitative method, by collecting data through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis in this study used descriptive qualitative analysis. The results showed that UD Ratno Jaya was not able to accommodate goods according to its capacity because the goods that came were not directly put into the warehouse that made the employee work twice, the lack of layout that was done by the company so that the warehouse could not accommodate the goods according to their capacity. What is the strategy of warehouse capacity optimization strategy that is the strategy carried out by UD Ratno Jaya by separating goods according to the level of demand.
