Abstract :
Realistic mathematical learning with SQ4R methods is approach and learning methods that emphasizes reading and then give the problem of real-life. Application of realistic mathematical learning with SQ4R methods in learning mathematics of class VII-B SMP Muhammadiyah Malang 06 DAU aims to : (1) Describe the application of realistic mathematics learning using SQ4R, (2) Knowing students learning activities during the implementation of realistic mathematics learning using SQ4R, (3) Knowing the students learning outcomes after the implementation of realistic mathematics learning using SQ4R. Type of study is descriptive study. The method used is a method of qualitative. The study population was students of SMP Muhammadiyah 06 DAU Malang Class VII-B, the data obtained through observation sheet to determine the activity and student learning through test to determine learning outcomes. The result showed that : 1) student learning activities in the learning of mathematics by using methods SQ4R realistic in learning mathematics is quite active. There is an increase in student learning activities at every meeting until the first meeting of the fourth. 2) student learning outcomes in mathematics learning realistic SQ4R method has an average of 75, students variant value of the group amounted to 11,02, 22 (76%) students completed study and 7 (24%) students incomplete the study.
