Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of population, unemployment, wages, education and health on poverty in Sidoarjo Regency. This study examines data for 20 (twenty) years, from 2001 to 2020 using time series data. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis and processed using eviews 9. The results showed that: 1) population had a negative and significant effect on poverty in Sidoarjo Regency 2) unemployment and health had a positive and insignificant effect on poverty in Sidoarjo Regency. 3) wages have a negative and insignificant effect on poverty in Sidoarjo Regency. 4) education has a positive and significant effect on poverty in Sidoarjo Regency.
