Abstract :
The purpose of this research is to determine the leading and non-seeded sectors, the classification of the Klassen typology and to determine the effect of labor, HDI, and the minimum wage on economic growth. In this study using LQ (location quentient) analysis, Klassen typology analysis and panel data regression analysis and processed using eviews 9. The results of this study indicate that there are 12 leading sector LQ analysis and 5 non-seeded sectors, quick classification Klassen typology analysis There are 4 sectors that are developed and growing, there are 4 sectors that are developing fast, there are 1 sector that is advanced but depressed, and there are 8 sectors that are underdeveloped. And for panel data regression, HDI and minimum wages have a positive and significant effect on economic growth in East Java Province. The workforce has a negative and insignificant effect on economic growth in East Java Province in 2017-2021.
