ABSTRACTION Nama : Dian Furgani M. NIM : 201810110311582 Judul : Faktor Meninggalkan Salah Satu Pihak Menjadi Alasan Cerai Gugat Di Pengadilan Agama Tuban Pembimbing : 1. Dr. Herwastoeti, S.H., M.SI. 2. Dwi Ratna Indri Hapsari, S.H., MH. This thesis aims to determine the number of wives who divorce their husbands at the Tuban Religious Court, East Java. This thesis uses empirical research methods by conducting observations and also interviews at the Tuban PA, more specifically by using descriptive research. Secondary data sources are documents on the Tuban Religious Court decision website for 2020-2021. It is undeniable that a marriage situation must have problems that slightly disturb its harmony. Small conflicts are always a journey of married life, this is where domestic life starts to get a little torn apart. Both parties must be able to resolve domestic problems, if the conflict continues and does not find a common ground, then the purpose of the marriage is likely to be achieved, and it is likely that both parties will enjoy the journey of their household. That the cause of many wives divorcing their husbands is because while leaving their wives during household economic difficulties the wife has never lived well since birth and there is no news when the husband leaves his wife because the wife experiences suffering while being abandoned by her husband as the reason for divorce by leaving one of the parties. The reason for the judge in deciding the lawsuit which was the result of the wife's law but not even 2 years or even less than 1 year, which has been regulated in Law no. 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage, PP No. 9 of 1975, and also in the KHI (Islamic Compilation).
