Abstract :
This study aims to find out the magnitude of the influence of financial literacy and demographic factors on investment decisions. The respondents in this study were students of the Univesity of Muhammadiyah Malang and the population was studenst of the faculty of economics and business class of 2018 and 2019 with a sample of 93 people. The data collection method used in this study was a questionnaire that was processed and filled out through the media, namely the google form and distributed to students of the 2018 and 2019 batches of economics and business faculty. Hypothesis testung using partial test results show that financial literacy has a positive effect on investment decisions and demographic factors have a positive effect on investment decisions. The dominant test result show that financial literacy is the variable that has most dominant influence on investment decisions. The results of this study can be used by futher reseacrh, and can be used as a reference for similar research.
