Abstract :
Everything related to public protests against the implementation or imple-mentation of PKH social assistance in the Jogoroto sub-district is the focus of this research. This includes, among other things, the form of protests that are carried out to social assistance officers and village officials as a form of resistance or their resistance to getting PKH social assistance. The purpose of the research is to de-scribe and also understand how the forms of resistance carried out by the commu-nity in Jogoroto District, Jombang Regency towards the implementation of PKH non-cash social assistance. The method in this study uses a descriptive qualitative research method with a case study approach. The data in this study were obtained by means of observation, interviews and documentation and then analyzed using the perspective of the resistance theory of James C. Scott. The results of this study are in the form of the subject's understanding of the PKH social assistance and an assessment of its implementation as well as the subject's motives in protesting or resisting.
