Abstract :
Domestic violence can have a negative impact on its victims, especially women who have the status of wives, both physically, psychologically and socially. Domestic violence causes a woman to become stressed, depressed, lose self-esteem, helpless, overshadowed fear, inaction, resignation to fate, despair, and various other psychological disorders. This study aims to 1) To describe the Factors of Violence in the Tuban Regency Social Service, 2) To describe the Role of the Social Rehabilitation Empowerment Sector and Handling of Victims of Violence in the Tuban Regency Social Service. This research was conducted at the Tuban Regency Social Service whose address is Jl. Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo No. 36, Sidorejo Village, Tuban District / Regency, the zip code is 62315. The Organizational Structure of the Social Service, P3A and PMD in the Regulation of the Regent of Tuban No.186 of 2021 concerning the Description, functions, and work procedures of the Social Service, Women's Empowerment and Child Protection as well as Community and Village Empowerment of Tuban Regency Bab III Pasal 3. The result of this study is that the majority of tuban regency people do not understand the law that regulates domestic violence, domestic violence that often occurs in Tuban Regency against the background of various factors starting from, Education Factors, economic factors, work factors, and income. The role of Government agencies in this case the Social Service, P3A and PMD in dealing with Domestic Violence (KDRT) is to carry out prevention functions (socialization and coordination with OPD and related stakeholders), mediation and assistance (psychological assistance and legal assistance).
