Abstract :
The purpose of writing this thesis is to find out, explore and describe the concept of Islamic economic political thought Amien Rais. The type of research used is qualitative which produces descriptive data in the form of words or words from people and observable behavior. The nature of this research is library research, which obtains books as a source of writing. The approach in this study uses a socio-historical approach, which is used to determine the socio-cultural and socio-political background of a character, because a character's thoughts are the result of interaction with his environment. The results of the research from this thesis are found to indicate that, namely as follows: Amien Rais's Islamic economic political thinking is a process or means of managing the government and power of a country to enforce socio-economic justice, the absence of exploitation of humans over other humans, or oppression of rich humans in poor in a country. Amien Rais's idea of social justice is that substantially in the Qur'an, Allah teaches that as believers, we must uphold justice not only in one or two aspects of life. Justice taught to Muslims is multidimensional. The Qur'an talks about legal justice, social justice, economic justice, political justice, and justice in education.
