Abstract :
Population growth and increasing e-commerce market demand the
manufacturing industry and freight forwarding services to increase their
productivity, one way to increase productivity is to increase ef iciency in moving
goods from one place to another. To overcome these problems, an Automated
Guided Vehicle (AGV) can be used. Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) is a robot
that can replace human labor in moving goods from one place to another more
quickly and precisely. Therefore, this study aims to develop AGV using odometry
and PID control methods. The results of the use of odometry and PID control
methods, there is a dif erence between the results of monitoring and direct
measurements of about 10-15 cm.
