Abstract :
Electric vehicles sold quite well in the 19th century to 1920 and in 1933 electric cars are in reduced expensive and slower than internal combustion engines. The increase in the number of interal combustion engines is fueling serious global concerns about climate change. However, one of the problems with electric cars to date is the limited energy provided by batteries that arebasedon the mileage of the vehicle. Research this time with the system Hybrid Strong System (HESS) focuses on battery storage that harnesses the energy density of supercapacitors and extends the mass of battery life. Based on the results of this study, it uses a lithium-ion battery type with voltage 66.6. State of Charge (SOC) comparison results when the road went uphill the battery SOC decreased by 99.9818 while with the addition of a supercapacitor 99.9856. when the road down the battery SOC experienced a continuous decline from 99.9207 to 99.9412 and with the addition of supercapacitors the decrease was not too much from 99.9484 to 99.9412. So it can be concluded that when using a supercapacitor the decrease is not too large whereas without a SOC supercapacitor the battery experiences a considerable decrease
