Abstract :
Taprose or the abbreviation of Tuban Public Report Service is an application-shaped innovation belonging to the Regional Government of Tuban Regency which was launched to respond to the demands of the times in the public service sector. The legal basis for the development of this application is contained in the 2017 Tuban Regent's Decree which discusses the formation of a special team to handle community complaints as well as the 2018 Tuban Regional Government's SKOMIT Decree which discusses standard procedural rules from Taprose as an application for collecting and resolving public complaints. This application was created so that the public can make complaint reports or provide input to the local government directly regarding the public services provided. This research seeks to explain how public service innovation is through the Tuban Public Report application? (Problem Formula) with reference to the theory developed by Koch, P., Hauknes?the Typology theory of public sector innovation. The subjects of this study include the Regional Government's Diskominfo Tuban Regency which consists of; Community of 3 people. The goal that has been set by the author is to find out public service innovation through the Tuban Public Report application. In an effort to answer and explain the formulation of the research problem, the researcher used a descriptive explanation method, supported by data collected through observation, interviews and documentation techniques. Furthermore, these data will be analyzed using data analysis techniques owned by Miles and Huberman: 1) Data Reduction; 2) Data Stewardship; and 3) Conclusion Drawing. From the results of the study it can be seen that this application is in accordance with the criteria contained in the Typology of public sector innovation according to Koch, P., Hauknes (2005), but in fact there is still a lot of information that is lacking in clarifying each point of reference in the theory the. This is why the Taprose application is still considered not optimal to become a catalyst between the community and the government. Even through user reviews obtained through the Google Playstore, the Taprose application has a rating of 3.5 and many reviewers have found very bad comments regarding this application.
