Abstract :
Social media Instagram is currently a place for its users to be able to more easily express themselves more freely by using a second Instagram account which is felt to increase privacy, a sense of security and comfort. Pop class of 2018 University of Muhammadiyah Malang when viewed from the dimensions of self disclosure. This research uses a descriptive descriptive research type with a case study approach. Data collection techniques that researchers use are in-depth interviews, non-participant observation and documentation. The results of this study found that students were more comfortable and free to disclose themselves on the second Instagram account than in the real world or on the first account. Through their second Instagram account they can be more free to be themselves, so that what they post is in accordance with what they feel without thinking about what other people say or think. In other words, the quality of self-disclosure carried out by communication science students is self-disclosure or positive self-disclosure where they post more often about their daily activities and capture these moments in the story second Instagram account. As for K-pop, students often share useful information with their fans or followers
