Abstract :
The Coban Rondo ecotourism area is a production forest area that has now changed its function to become an ecotourism area so there are community activities around the forest. Because the health status of stands in the Coban Rondo tourism area is currently not known, it is necessary to conduct research on stand health in the Coban Rondo tourism production forest area to know the health status of the stands. The research method used is the Forest Health Monitoring (FHM) method. The analysis used is a descriptive analysis which includes the vitality, productivity ,and quality of the site. The results of the study showed that the frequency of damage to stands at the cluster plot level averaged 90% at a mild level.. The resulting diversity index is 0.4 which means the vegetation community with less stable environmental conditions. The volume value of the resulting stand was 112,060 m?/ha and the resulting pH site quality assessment was 6.5 - 6.9 with latosol soil types. The level of damage to stands in the Coban Rondo production forest area reached 43% with a ?moderate? classification status which has the potential to cause more severe levels of damage and disrupt the process of growth and development of stands which will negatively affect the health status of a forest area.
