Abstract :
This study aims to determine the implementation of 'prtncipal management in SMP QU (Al-Qur'an)
Roudhlatul Qur'an 3 Sekampung, knowing and describing the organization by the principal in
improving the performance of teachers in the teaming process, describe the obstacles faced by the
principal in managing the performance of teachers for the learning process and exp/am the various
efforts of the principal in dealing with obstacles in the management of the principal to improve
teacher performance in the learning process. The research method used is descriptive qualitative.
Based on the results of the study, it was found that the principal has implemented principal
management to improve teacher performance in the leaming process. The constraints faced by
principals iJ1 implementing management to improve teacher performance in the learning process
are related to many factors, factors that affect teacher performance including work culture and
supervision of managerial abilities of principals are not maximized, lack of training in making
teaching materials.
