The aim of this reseach is to To find out wether there are any influence and significant
influence of using Youtube videos toward students' pronunciation. This research is an
experiment class which was held at SMK Ma'arif NU 1 Purbolinggo. The subjects of the
study were class AKL1 as the experimental class that consist of 24 students and class
AKL2 as the control class that consist of 20 students. The criteria for learning success is
that if YouTube videos have a significant influence on students' pronunciation ability,
based on youtube videos and get a minimum standard of 75 as KKM. The test result
showed the students score of pre-test an experiment group that among 24 students there
was 6 student or 25.00% that poor category. 18 students or 75.00% that failed category.
The students score of pre-test in control group that 20 students there were 3 students or
15.00 % that poor category, and 17 students or 85.00% that got a failed category. The
students pronunciation ability in the control group is fair category 62%. The post-test
scores in experimental class showed that 24 students there were 3 students or 12.50%
who belong to an excellent category, 19 students or 78.17% that could achieve a good
category and 2 students or 8.33% had poor category. The score of control class 20
students there was 11 students or 55.00% who achieved good category and 9 students
or 45.00% that got a poor category. This means that the use of Youtube video in
teaching pronunciation gives good result than that of without Youtube video.
