Abstract :
The title of this research is Kebutuhan Bertingkat Tokoh Lara Cameron dalam Novel The Stars Shine Down Karya Sidney Sheldon. This research have an aim to describe characteristics and the achievement of Lara Cameron's hierarchy of needs, used Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory in 1943. The implemented research method upon this research is descriptive qualitative with mimetic approach. Based on the results of the research, there are three dimensions of characteristics of Lara Cameron, there are physical, social, and psychological. The achievement of hierarchy needs of Lara Cameron based on Abraham Maslow's theory consists of five, such as physiological needs in the form of meeting the needs for clothing, food, and shelter. The need for security is achieved by getting protection so that it is free from fear and anxiety, the need for love and belonging which is obtained by marrying a man who is loved and loves her, the need for appreciation is achieved by having respect for achievements that have been achieved, the need for self actualization is achieved by doing the job maximally so as to get all the success.
