Abstract :
This research is entitled Todd Gilbert's Infidelity in A.S.A Harrison's Novel The Silent Wife. The purposes of the research are to describe the background of the Infidelity seen from the Dimensions of Character and describing of Todd Gilbert's Infidelity in the novel. This research applied a qualitative descriptive method with social approach. The result of this research, Todd Gilbert's affair was motivated by his childhood who was dumped by his parents and his neighborhood. The type of infidelity that Gilbert committed was Emotional Infidelity, which was Gilbert's infidelity with a woman named Natasha and Sexual Infidelity, namely Gilbert's infidelity with several call women
