Abstract :
This study aims to determine whether peer assessment can determine student collaboration skills on the concept of the human respiratory system. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The population of this research subject is VIII C grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Sukaraja in the 2019/2020 school year. Data collection techniques in this study consisted of field observations, data collection, filling in questionnaires and rubrics by students as well as documentation during the study. The results showed that based on the assessment of collaboration skills using peer assessment, the collaboration ability of VIII C students of SMP Negeri 1 Sukaraja owned by students was sufficient, from the results of the average percentage of the five indicators of collaboration skills, an average score of 39, 97% of these average results fall into the sufficient category. This sufficient category, explains that students in collaborating with a group of friends are good enough in each indicator can be fulfilled. Students give positive responses to learning on the concept of the respiratory system, students give positive responses to the assessment of collaboration skills using peer assessment, students state they disagree with statements of displeasure because with peer assessment because with peer assessment I can find out the collaboration skills possessed.
