Abstract :
Delita Natalia (1630611036) Muhammadiyah University of Sukabumi. The Effect of Asset Growth and Leverage on Dividend Policy on Cigarette Sub Sector Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. (Thesis Advisor Acep Suherman, M.Ak and Elan Eriswanto, SE.MM). This study aims to determine the effect of asset growth and leverage on dividend policy. Asset growth, leverage and dividend policy are used as variables in the study. This research uses quantitative method with an associative approach. The population in this study is the financial reports of sub sektor cigarette manufacturing companies 2016-2018 of three cigarette companies and 36 financial reports are used as the sample. In this study sampling technique. Data collection technique uses secondary data. Data analysis techniques are the classic assumption test, multiple linear analysis, and hypothesis testing. This result shows: the independent variable is the growth of assets and leverage while the dependent variable is the dividend policy. The result of this study indicates that partially asset growth has no effect on dividend policy with the t-test results of -0.043 with a significance value of 0.966, the Leverage variable has no effect on the dividend policy with the t-test results of 0,548 with a significance value of 0.589. Asset growth and leverage does not have a simultaneous effect on dividend policy with the f test result of 0.161 with a significance value of 0.852. So it can be concluded that the assets growth and leverage only affects 1.4% on the dividend policy and the rest is influenced by other factors which are not examined in this study.
