Abstract :
ANA OKTAVIANA. 2021. The Role of the Mangosteen Farmers Association in Access to the Export Market in Sukabumi Regency. Under the guidance of EMA HILMA MEILANI and RENY SUKMAWANI. This study aims to determine the role of the mangosteen farmer association in export market access. The method used in this research is amethod survey to collect quantitative and qualitative data. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. The data obtained from the research results were tabulated, described and analyzed descriptively. The results of the research show that the overall role played by the mangosteen farmer association in Sukabumi Regency in accessing the export market is 68,18% or it falls into good criteria. The role of the association in accommodating and channeling farmers' aspirations, promoting commodities, encouraging competition, and solving problems is 100% respectively or falls into the very good criteria (active role). The role of associations in advocating for and overseeing the implementation of partnerships, protection and empowerment of farmers and facilitating members is 50% each or it falls into the sufficient criteria (role but not maximal).
