Abstract :
Poverty and zakat are an inseparable unity. In zakat, there are people who must pay zakat, namely people who are entitled to receive zakat, especially from the poor. However, there are several problems that occur in the danger of zakat mustahik among the community, namely the process of anticipating zakat mustahik is carried out by direct appointment by amilin if detailed data in each house will take a lot of time, this can pose a danger so that mustahik who receive zakat are not people who really need zakat funds. However, with technology, direct appointment of mustahik does not need to be used anymore, because technology exists to facilitate human work. By using the k-nearest neighbor algorithm and test case testing, the process of hope for the mustahik zakat community from the poor can be more effective and produce data that is in accordance with the conditions of the prospective mustahik community. So that the poor who receive zakat are really poor people and are entitled to receive zakat.
