Abstract :
Garageshoessmi store is a store that is growing in Sukabumi City which is engaged in selling shoes and also used clothes. Every year consumers from garageshoessmi stores are increasing, and the products sold are getting more diverse, not just one type. In the world of buying and selling, it is natural that every year there is an increase and decrease in sales due to increasingly fierce competition. Therefore, entrepreneurs play an important role in making decisions in order to run their business better in the future, one of which is making decisions in terms of estimating sales and stock inventory for sales in the next month and period. For this reason, the authors design a shoe sales prediction system which is expected to facilitate entrepreneurs in estimating how many sales and inventory items are needed for sales in the future. This shoe sales prediction system uses one method, namely the trend moment method. The data used in this study is sales data that already existed from the results of direct interviews at the research site. The trend moment method is used to be able to overcome the problem, namely for shoe sales predictions, the more historical data for prediction calculations using the trend moment method the more accurate the prediction results will be, so that the sales prediction results can assist entrepreneurs in considering how much stock will be provided in the following month. will come.
